Employees Test Positive for Covid

Good Samaritan Home was notified that two employees tested positive for COVID-19. We stand by our commitment to the health and safety of our residents and staff. We continue to take precautions, which includes:
- Continued screening of all residents with routine vitals daily.
- All staff, residents, and visitors are required to wear masks inside the building due to high community transmission levels.
- Testing for staff and residents will continue during outbreak status.
For any questions or concerns, please contact your loved one’s designated social service aide. Thank you for your patience, prayers, and understanding during this time.

Weekly Employee Testing Continues
At this time there are no new nor active cases of COVID-19 among staff or residents, and the resident that tested positive on July 28th is recovering. Due to 100% negative results from last week’s testing, residents are not required to be tested this week. However, state guidance still recommends that staff be tested again…
Resident Room Quarantine Lifted
Starting on 8/6, the resident room quarantine was lifted. Residents are allowed to leave their rooms, but are still quarantined to their unit. All residents must wear a mask when they are not in their room. Residents can now eat in their neighborhood dining room. Only one resident will be allowed per table to allow…
