-Cottage Community Center (31D): Notice the Community Center has moved! Tuesday, 6:00pm: Game Night! Wednesday, 12:30pm: Ponytail Canasta. Thursday. 10am: Coffee Hour. Friday, 1:30pm: Scrabble, 6:00pm: Friday Night Fun & Games. Saturday, 1pm: Dominoes Train.
-Come Play Bingo and Learn About Better Hearing! ITAC (Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation) will be giving a presentation and hosting a bingo game in the Social Room on Wednesday, February 18th, at 10:00am. They are a Not-for Profit organization that has been issuing FREE equipment in Illinois since 1988 to those with hearing impairment. Please join us to learn more about ITAC and what they can offer you! This is a service available to residents, families, cottagers, and staff, really anyone who qualifies that is an Illinois resident. After the 15-minute presentation, they will put on a game of bingo!

-The oldest surviving love poem is written on a clay tablet from the times of the Sumerians, inventors of writing, around 3500 BC, and named Istanbul #2461.
-In the Middle Ages, young men and women drew names from a bowl to see who would be their Valentine. They would wear this name pinned onto their sleeves for one week for everyone to see. This was the origin of the expression “to wear your heart on your sleeve.”
