News & Views from Campus: September 8^th – September 14^th  

-Cottage Community Center (30D): Tuesday, 6:00pm: Triple Yahtzee. Wednesday, 1pm: Ponytail Canasta. Thursday, 10am: Coffee Hour (regular & decaf), Friday, 6:30pm: Friday Night Fun & Games. Saturday, 1pm: Dominoes Train.

-ICE CREAM SOCIAL on Thursday, September 19^th at 3:30pm at Speckhart Pavilion for all cottagers! Come meet your fellow cottagers and make an Ice Cream Sundae! Bring a lawn chair if you have one, we hope to see you there!

-Beauty Shop: We are excited to announce our new hire, part-time beautician Jess Brown! She has over 10 years of experience, and will be in the beauty shop Tuesday-Thursday, 8am-4:30pm! To schedule an appointment, call 217-223-8717 ext. 4215!

-Cherry Lane Cottagers: Join us for “Meet Your Neighbors” the 1^st & 3^rd Tuesday each month at 7pm at 2109 Cherry Lane Est North! Bring a lawn chair and join in on the fun!                               

-Sunday, September 8^th from 2-3pm is National Grandparents Day!

-I went to the aquarium this weekend, but I didn’t stay long. There’s something fishy about this place.   

-I went to a silent auction. I won a dog whistle and two mimes.

-I tried to make up a joke about a ghost but I couldn’t. It had plenty of spirit but no body.

-Why do people who live in Greece hate waking up at dawn? Because, Dawn is tough on Greece!  

– You know how many apples grow on an apple tree? All of them!

 -The other day I was attacked by a bunch of circus clowns in the parking lot. I won though, because I went right for the juggler!
