News & Views from Campus: September 17^th – September 23^rd

-Cottage Community Center: Triple Yahtzee (weekly) on Tuesday at 6pm! Canasta on Wednesday at 1pm, Coffee on Thursday at 10am, and Dominoes Saturday at 1pm!

-Wal-Mart Shopping is back on Wednesday, September 20^th. Remember, you must contact Sally at extension 4227 to confirm your spot no later than Tuesday, September 19^th by noon! The bus will depart promptly from the Front Entrance at 8:30am on Wednesday!

-Don’t miss great LIVE music from Steve Buckman on Sunday at 2pm, Marvin Cook on Monday at 10am, & Tim Bealor on Thursday at 1pm. Nathan Laube from Salem EUCC will perform an organ concert on Channel 3 at 1pm on Saturday as well!

-Plan on attending Name That Recipe on Wednesday at 1pm in the Social Room! Different Food & Drink samples made by employees will be available for you to try and guess!

-Catch the all-time classic The Color Purple on Friday at 1pm. Whoopi Goldberg stars as a black southern woman who struggles to find her identity after suffering abuse from her father & others over 4 decades. Based off the Pulitzer Prize winning novel.

Keep Me Close

Heavenly Father hear my plea. Keep me ever close to thee. When my heart would turn to sin, Lord in me the victory win. You can keep me from all wrong, for I know that you are strong. Yet I often go astray, when your word I disobey. To you, Lord I now confess, sin has made my life a mess. Father take away my sin, keep me ever pure within.
