STACY ARROWSMITH, DIRECTOR OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES WRITES…
My name is Stacy Arrowsmith, and I am the Director of Environmental Services here at Good Samaritan Home. I have worked at Good Sam for over 17 years.
Some of the primary functions of my job include ensuring appropriate staffing, quality staff performance, ordering needed supplies, and recommending equipment purchases to administration. As the Director of Environmental Services, I want to assure that the Home is maintained in a clean, visually pleasing campus for our residents, staff and visitors.
We have both part-time and full-time employees in the environmental services department. The day shift laundry workers working from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. are: Donna Helmick, Annette Lewis and Monica Lewis. Our day shift housekeepers working from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. are: Lisa Haught, Joyce Johnson, Robert Knuffman, Josh Lunt, Shelia Miller, Steve Miller, Diane Moore, Carlatta Rice, Cory Shannon, and Chris Smith. We have a few housekeepers that work 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and they are: Linda Barry, Barb Campbell and Lisa Starr. Our night shift laundry workers working from 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. are: Taylor Gilker, Regina Hudson and Amanda Moulton. A few of our employees working from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. help with both housekeeping and laundry on certain days and they are: Megan Parada-Olivares, Lill Harvey and Sam Huckstep.
The next time you see any of our Environmental Services Staff, please let them know what a great job they do to keep our facility looking good! It takes a TEAM to keep it clean!!!

Fall Back 2019 Currently, the majority of the United States begins Daylight Savings at exactly 2:00 am on the 2nd Sunday in March. Daylight Savings then reverts to Standard Time on the 1st Sunday in November. Like most things in life, the practice of Daylight Savings has both its advocates and critics.
Prayer Request & Scripture
Our Scripture of the Week is Matthew 6:35 Sitting
down, Jesus called the Twelve and said: “Anyone who wants to be first must be
the very last, and the servant of all.”
This week we are praying for residents in Foose Center and Staff Administrators Chuck, Dave and the Board of Directors.
Weekly Inspiration
Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes them meaningful.
