News & Views from Campus: October 20^th – October 26^th  

-Cottage Community Center (30D): Tuesday, 6:00pm: Game Night, Wednesday, 1pm: Ponytail Canasta. Thursday, 10am: Coffee Hour (now serving regular & decaf). Friday, 1:30pm: Scrabble, 6:30pm: Friday Night Fun & Games. Saturday, 1pm: Dominoes Train.

-Good Sam Chili Soup Dinner is Wednesday, November 13^th from 3:30pm-6:30pm! $6 for adults and $4 for children under 10 gets you chili, grilled cheese, dessert and drink! If you would like to donate baked goods (or a monetary donation for supplies) please contact Missy Loos at 217-223-8717 ext. 4296! All proceeds benefit the Employee Assistance Fund that helps employees facing extended absences from work due to catastrophic events, such as a house fire or death in the immediate family.    

–Keep Spooky Season Going with Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (1963) on Monday the 21^st at 1pm! A wealthy San Francisco socialite purses a potential boyfriend to a small Northern California town that slowly takes a turn for the bizarre when birds of all kinds suddenly begin to attack people! This classic Hitchcock film won the New York Film Critics Award in 1963.                                           -Nathan

Children of God

What kind of love? What kind of love is given to us from God above? That we should all be called His children. And so we are by his redemption. A transformation has begun, and now continues by his son. The change continues day by day as we His word seek to obey. The process soon will be complete and we shall gather at his feet welcomed by Him at heaven’s door to live with him forevermore.
