News & Views from Campus: October 17^th – October 23^rd  

 Good Samaritan Home of Quincy Garners Awards

Recently, our administrators received some very welcome news from two very well-respected sources: The Herald-Whig, and Newsweek Magazine! For the 4^th consecutive year, Good Samaritan was voted by the public as the top Assisted Living Facility and the top Skilled Nursing Facility in the Herald Whig annual Readers’ Choice Awards! The Whig footprint, centered in Quincy, stretches almost 60 miles in every direction, into northeast, central, and southcentral Missouri, western Illinois through pike county, and even the southeast tip of Iowa, so we are honored to accept these awards on behalf of the public! Newsweek Magazine, for the 3^rd year in a row, voted our home as one of the top Nursing Homes in the nation! Newsweek compiles information based on performance data (health inspections, quality measures, etc.), reputation survey, and our response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Blessed with these accolades, we are excited to continue this tradition of excellent care in our home!
