News & Views from Campus: October 13^th – October 19^th  

-Cottage Community Center (30D): Tuesday, 6:00pm: Game Night, Wednesday, 1pm: Ponytail Canasta. Thursday, 10am: Coffee Hour (now serving regular & decaf). Friday, 1:30pm: Scrabble, 6:30pm: Friday Night Fun & Games. Saturday, 1pm: Dominoes Train.

-Reminder Monday, October 14th, at 2PM, Meenal Mamdani/ & Anne Stupavsky will present the Safety Check Program at the Cottagers’ Community Center. Also, enjoy the fall weather at the extra-large patio with plenty of seating behind Cottages 34 C & D.

-Digital Disciples will be in Wednesday morning at 9:30am in the Bartley Family Room up front to help you with all of your electronic questions and needs! Come see them for help!

-Good Sam Chili Soup Dinner is Wednesday, November 13^th from 3:30pm-6:30pm! $6 for adults and $4 for children under 10 gets you chili, grilled cheese, dessert and drink! If you would like to donate baked goods (or a monetary donation for supplies) please contact Missy Loos at 217-223-8717 ext. 4296! All proceeds benefit the Employee Assistance Fund that helps employees facing extended absences from work due to catastrophic events, such as a house fire or death in the immediate family.                                                     -Nathan

Prayer Of The Week

Matthew 6:25-27, 34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, hat you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?…Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
