Christmas Memorial Service

Good Samaritan Home’s Annual Christmastime Memorial Service will be  Wednesday, December 7^th at 6:00 PM in the Wee Kirk Chapel.  Family and friends of loved ones who passed away are welcome to attend the service in-person this year.  We will also stream the service live on The Good Samaritan Home Facebook Page.  An ornament will be hung on our Christmas trees in the chapel for each of our residents who passed away in the previous year. 

This service is also open to anyone who would like us to remember a loved one in this way no matter when they passed away or where. To include other loved ones in this service, please call Chaplain Josh Vahle at 217-223-2455 x4491 and leave a message with your name and phone number and your loved one’s name and date of passing. Or email him at jvahle@gshq.org

It is difficult to celebrate God’s gift and enjoy family traditions at this time of year when you are also grieving. My hope is that this service will comfort you in your loss and grief and strengthen your faith in the God who sent you his greatest gift. May God’s peace sustain you now and forever in the hope given to us through His Son Jesus Christ. – Chaplain Josh

Get Back to Active with Physical Therapy Services!

The therapy department is able to provide PT, OT and ST services.  With access to the pool, the therapy dept. is able to provide aquatic therapy as needed.  Have your doctor send an order to fax number 223-7582 or call the therapy dept. at 223-8717 ext. 4206 for further assistance.  Let us help you get back to moving.
