News & Views from Campus: November 21st – November 27th

Cindy Gilbert, Admissions Director writes…Today I want to share some information about assisted living in Stevenson Manor at Good Samaritan Home.  Stevenson Manor is located in the front, northeast section of Good Sam.  In assisted living, a person can receive a wide variety of services.  Good Samaritan offers three Tiers of service levels in our assisted living area.  A person’s tier level can be adjusted as their needs change over time and they need additional care.  A staff member is on duty 24/7 to assist with these services.  Designated parking is available for Assisted Living residents that still drive. Residents who reside in assisted living have three meals provided in the main dining room; have access to several activities on Stevenson Manor and throughout the building; access to chapel services at Good Samaritan and our Chaplain; have telephone, internet, and cable tv services provided in their room; as well as light housekeeping services in their rooms weekly.  The apartments in Stevenson Manor vary in size and cost.  Each apartment has a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower in the room.  If a resident’s needs change that they need more assistance than is provided in assisted living, they will have priority to move to a nursing neighborhood at Good Samaritan Home.

Prayer Request & Scripture

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK

Mathew 6:25-27, 34

“Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat & drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
