Then on Saturday, don’t miss a special performance by Matthew Nall, a classically trained pianist from Camp Point! He performs works including Haydn, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and others! Also, mark your calendar for Deer Hunting on Monday at 2pm! You are not going to want to miss a chance to hunt some Good Sam employees playing the part of the deer!

-Did you know…the first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621. It included 50 Pilgrims, 90 Wampanoag Indians, and lasted 3 days. Turkey wasn’t on the menu, but more likely venison, duck, goose, oysters, fish, and eels!                                                  -Nathan

Prayer Of The Week

Children of God

What kind of Love? What kind of love is given to us from God above? That we should all be called His children. And so we are by His redemption. A transformation has begun, and now continues by His Son. The change continues day by day as we His word seek to obey. The process soon will be complete, and we shall gather at His feet. Welcomed by Him at heaven’s door to live with him forevermore.

-From Prayers From a Sinners Heart by cottager Clayton Frost

Thanksgiving Puns just for Donny…because he’s no turkey!

-My family told me to stop telling Thanksgiving jokes, but its hard to quit cold turkey! -I wanted to take home some leftovers, but all of my plans were foiled! My favorite Thanksgiving movie is Silence of the Yams!
