News & Views from Campus: May 18th – 24th, 2025
-Cottage Community Center (30D): Tuesday, 6:00pm: Game Night! Wednesday, 1pm: Ponytail Canasta. Thursday, 10am: Coffee Hour. Friday, 1:30pm: Scrabble, 6:00pm: Friday Night Fun & Games. Saturday, 1pm: Dominoes Train. Cherry Lane Cottagers are still gathering the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm at 2109 Cherry Lane Estates North. Come meet your neighbors for some good convo and snacks!
-TONS of Live Entertainment next week! We start with Steve Buckman on the piano on Sunday at 10am. On Tuesday at 10am, “Marvelous” Marvin Cook will be in playing guitar and singing gospel and country from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Wednesday at 1pm brings us Alex & Ria Brown, and their favorite Christan contemporary sound. Thursday at 1pm brings us the sounds of Tim Bealor playing the classics, on Guitar or accompanied by piano. And we will round out the week on Saturday at 10am as the Mannhardt Music Studio Singers regale us with pop music from the 1940’s – 1960s!
-The Digital Disciples will be in the Bartley Family room up front on Wednesday at 9:30am to help with all of your electronic needs! -Nathan

-Cottager Need-To-Knows: Beginning June 3rd, Cottager Breakfast will be held on the first Tuesday of every month in the Main Dining room on campus, at 8am. Also, the Rehab Gym located next to the pool inside Good Sam, is accessible for cottagers. Access is limited to afternoons when it is not in use, so call Christne Broeker ahead of time at 217-223-8717 ext. 4201.
