Introducing Jeannie McLeod, COO/Associate Administrator

Jeannie McLeod was born and raised in Hannibal, MO.  She now lives in New London, MO with her husband Robbie of 20 years and their two sons Brayden, 17, and Lukas, 15.  Jeannie enjoys boating on Mark Twain Lake with her family and attending her children’s many sporting events.  After high school, she furthered her education at Blessing Hospital’s School of Radiologic Technology and graduated in 2000.  She then achieved registries in Radiography and Computed Tomography working in clinic, hospital, long term care, and correctional environments.

Jeannie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ottawa University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Healthcare Management.  She currently holds a nursing home administrator’s license in the State of Missouri where she previously worked as an administrator at a skilled nursing facility.  She has over 14 years of experience working in the senior care environment and has gained a vast amount of knowledge in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.  She is now actively working towards obtaining her Illinois Nursing Home Administrator’s License to better serve the Good Samaritan Home Community.  Jeannie feels very blessed to be a part of the Good Samaritan Family, and she is extremely thankful to be given the opportunity to work in such a wonderful organization alongside exceptional staff.
