News & Views from Campus: March 31^st – April 6^th

-Cottage Community Center (30D): Tuesday, 5:30pm: Triple Yahtzee. Wednesday, 1pm: Ponytail Canasta. Thursday, 10am: Coffee Hour, Friday, 1:30pm: Scrabble. Saturday, 1pm: Dominoes. If you are interested in a tour of the Main Campus contact Peggy Poteet, 25A, at 217-653-3629.

– Our next Ladies Bible Study is Monday April 8^th at 5pm in cottage 30D. Contact Cottager Vickie Larson at 217-440-2205 for more info.

-Don’t miss the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8^th, at approximately 1:45pm. If the weather is good we will be going outside, and it will also be streaming live in the Social Room for all to see. Total Solar Eclipses are fairly common as they occur once about every 18 months…but since 71% of the Earth’s surface is covered in water, the majority of them have very limited viewing.

-Reminder to all cottagers, visitors, family, friends, and staff:  The speed limit is 20 mph on both the Main Campus and on Cherry Lane Estates. As the temperature starts to warm and more people become active, we ask that you pay special attention to you surrounds and to obey the posted speed limit on our campuses. Thanks!
