News & Views from Campus: March 26th – April 1st 2023

Thursday, March 30th: The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick will take place during Catholic Mass at 10am that morning. Please plan on being present for the service if you wish to receive this.

Also on Thursday the 30th, we will be celebrating Opening Day for Major League Baseball! The Cubs will host the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field at 1:20pm, while the Cardinals host the Toronto Blue Jays at Busch Stadium at 3:10pm. We will be celebrating by serving stadium favorites at lunch including hamburgers, cheeseburgers and brats, potato salad and chips, apple pie, cracker jacks, and A&W Root Beer! Be sure to wear your favorite teams colors or apparel that day! The Cardinals are expecting to win the National League Central Division again this year, while most forecasts have the Cubs predicted to finish 3rd. The Houston Astros are the odds-on favorites to win the 2023 World Series, followed by the LA Dodgers, New York Yankees, New York Mets, and Atlanta Braves, followed by the Toronto Blue Jays and the aforementioned St. Louis Cardinals.

Thursday evening find your way to the Social Room at 6:30pm to play GIANT Battleship! It’s the same game you played on a tabletop for years, but with a twist…the ship pieces are HUGE! It’s sure to be a hit, so come give it a try!

Happy Birthday
