News & Views from Campus: March 19th – March 25th 2023

Tuesday, March 21st: The Social Services and Activities staff on your neighborhood will be stopping by to reprogram your televisions. We are getting new equipment and all stations will now be digital (better quality). This is a fairly quick process, but please be patient as they will have to reprogram every television on the neighborhood.

Tuesday, March 21st: Make sure to come checkout Pool Noodle Hockey in the Social Room at 6:30pm! Here are some fun facts about hockey you may not know!

-A standard hockey rink is 200 feet long by 85 feet wide.

-Before hockey games, the pucks are frozen in ice water to prevent them from bouncing. Pucks are made out of vulcanized rubber.

-A hockey goal is 6 feet wide by 4 feet tall.

-The ice on a hockey rink is typically about three-quarters of an inch thick, and it’s kept at about 16 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wednesday, March 22nd: The Digital Disciples will return at 1:30pm in the Boardroom. They can help you with anything you might need in regards to using your tablet, computer, or smartphones! If you have any questions or concerns, be sure to bring you device and come see them!

Happy Birthday

Prayer Request & Scripture

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK

Matthew 6:25-27, 34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, and what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they are? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

THIS WEEK PRAY FOR: Eastbrook Lane

Riddle Me This…

-What can you put in a bucket to make it weigh less? A hole.

-What has a bottom at the top? Your legs!

-What goes all around the world & also stays in one corner? A Stamp.
