News & Views from Campus: July 9^th – July 15^th 2023

-Cottage Community Center Updates: Located at 30D. Puzzles ranging from 250-2000 pieces as well as a mini-library are available for use or check out! This week Canasta at 1pm on Wednesday July 12^th. Coffee Hour at 10am, Thursday July 13^th. Dominoes at 1pm on Saturday, July 15^th!

-Laugh Out Loud with Bruce Almighty, airing Tuesday at 1pm! A whiny news reporter (Jim Carrey) is given the chance to step into God’s shoes when things don’t go his way, and he quickly finds out that wielding all the power in the world is not exactly what it’s cracked up to be!

-Mystery Meal will depart from the front entrance at 10:30am on Wednesday, July 12^th. Don’t forget to reserve your spot by calling Sally at extension 4227 by Noon on Tuesday the 11^th! Remember, the only cost to you is the price of your meal!  

Don’t miss Illinois Stories as they visit the “Unsinkable” Molly Brown Museum in Hannibal! Born to Irish immigrants in 1867, the lifelong adventurer moved to Colorado, married wealthy, and became a fascinating socialite & philanthropist who most famously survived the Titanic disaster of 1912.
