BRRRRRRRRRR…It’s cold out there! Here are some tips and tricks to staying warm & toasty all winter without turning up the furnace!

• Dress in layers as much as possible!
• Wear thick socks, or slippers!
• Use the oven & stove for cooking!
• Leave that oven open after baking!
• Enjoy a hot bowl of soup, coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea whenever you feel a chill!
• Use a humidifier (humid air is much warmer than cold air)!
• Reverse the ceiling fan (this will push the warm air back down to the ground floor)!
• Use microwaveable heating pads!
• Don’t run the bathroom fan after a warm shower!
• Be as active as possible!
