Check Out Quincy’s Brand-New Source For Local News…

A few weeks ago, I wrote an article right here talking about the cessation of the Sunday edition of the Herald-Whig. Today, I come bearing news that does more than soften that blow, but actually blows it out of the water! Muddy River News began in the last 9-12 months as a local news outlet. Although it is online only (www.muddyrivernews.com), they’ve proven in their short existence to be more in-depth than all of our local news options, in my opinion. Check out their website and browse at your leisure, because you’re sure to see some familiar faces that have spent the majority of their careers in local media that have boarded the Muddy River News ship, such as popular columnist Steve Eighinger, all-area sports reporter Matt Shuckman, contributing Editor David Adam, and Publisher Bob Gough. It seems to me, the best of the best when it comes to local news and sports coverage, have all ended up in the same spot, which is online at Muddy River News!
