News & Views from Campus: February 9^th – February 15^th

-Cottage Community Center (30D): Tuesday, 6:00pm: Game Night! Wednesday, 1pm: Ponytail Canasta. Thursday, 10am: Coffee Hour. Friday, 1:30pm: Scrabble, 6:00pm: Friday Night Fun & Games (see below). Saturday, 1pm: Dominoes Train.

-Save The Date on Valentines Day, Friday, February 14^th: The Cottage Community Center will host a special game night featuring food, fellowship, games and puzzles! Food signup is on the table in cottage 30D!  

-Mark Your Calendar for Monday, February 17^th at 10am in the Social Room, as we will have a special presentation from ITAC (Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation), a Not-for Profit organization that has been issuing FREE equipment in Illinois since 1988 to those with hearing impairment. Please join us to learn more about ITAC and what they can offer you. This is a service available to residents, families, cottagers, and staff… really anyone who qualifies as long as you are an Illinois resident!

–Respiratory Illnesses (RSV, Covid, Influenza) are leveling off, but still prevalent in our community. Cottagers and all visitors are encouraged to follow these guidelines: Receive vaccines, wash your hands, practice cough etiquette, and stay home if you’re sick. Please postpone your visit until you have been fever-free for at least 24 hours and you are feeling better. Stay safe out there everyone!
