News & Views from Campus: February 20th – February 26th

This and That…

-A HUGE thanks to nurse Scott McEntee from Anna Brown for bringing in his tropical birds Willow, Howie, and Sunny last week. If you missed them, we will have them back soon. Thanks again Scott!

-The QHS Blue Devils wrapped up their regular season with a 65-57 win over Galesburg last week to win the Western Big 6 Conference for the 24th time, and first time since 2018! Good luck in the postseason Devils!

-While I’m writing this, we are right in the middle of another rather large snowstorm here in Quincy. But keep in mind, Spring is a mere 31 days away (March 20th), and Summer is only 124 days away (June 21st)!

-My wife asked me this week if they plowed train tracks so they could run. I’ll admit, I had no idea. But, it’s worth looking up, because they have giant plow engines, and even bigger snow blower engines to clear large amounts! Google “How they plow railroad tracks” and check it out!

Happy Birthday
