This and That…
-Have you been following the Winter Olympics on NBC? As of Thursday February 10th, the United States sits in 4th place with 9 total medals (3 Gold, 5 Silver, & 1 Bronze). Russia leads all countries with 11 total, and Austria & Norway are tied for 2nd with 10 each. Wednesday evening, American Figure Skater Nathan Chen captured Gold in Men’s Figure Skating in dominating fashion! The Olympics will conclude Sunday, February 20th.
-The Quincy Children’s Museum officially announced its permanent location will be in the old Quincy Paper Box building, located at 230 North 3rd street. The property was built in 1890, and some may recall they created shoe boxes, candy boxes Valentines Heart boxes, and other specialty items during their tenure from 1921 to 1991.
-Get Ready to meet some Tropical Birds of Paradise! We will have special winged visitors Willow, Howie, and Sunny in Wednesday the 16th!
