ALL STAFF AND RESIDENTS TEST NEGATIVE FOR COVID-19
GSH is continuing our best efforts to keep your loved ones safe.
We have received word from the health department that all residents and staff have tested negative for the COVID-19 test that was done on 6/11/20. A reminder to those who received the COVID-19 testing consent form, please sign and return these as soon as possible. You would have only received this consent form if your family member was unable to consent themselves.
Currently, administration is working on writing a new policy and organizing outdoor visitation for residents and families. Once this policy is finalized, we will inform you of the policy/procedure for the outside visits. We are not accepting appointments for outside visitation at this time.
We are happy to announce that there are some changes to the policy/procedures effective 06/24/2020: including lifted resident neighborhood quarantines, general store access, group chapel and activity services, and resumed private pool therapy sessions for internal residents only.
Inside visitor restrictions are still in place for our facility, but window visits may be scheduled with our Activities Department. If you have any questions regarding our current procedures, please feel free to contact your loved one’s designated social service aide.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this time.
